The good old saying goes - "All the Balkan mountains you can put on one side, but Prokletije on another." The more beautiful and the more dangerous mountain range you cannot find on the Balkan Peninsula. This race will be the VK "world class.” The start the race goes from the Grbaja valley towards Karanfili. The first measurement of the course shows that within 4km you’ll already have a vertical kilometer. The course will be circular so all competitors after the finish will continue to walk away toward the Očnjakridge and decent from the other side, to the mountain lodge “Branko Kotlajić”which will be our base. Please note that this course will have an extremely steep and technically difficult parts. Of course, we will secure these parts with the ropes, but this race is not for those with altitude sickness or those who have an "asphalt in the blood."You will need tents, while running poles are definitely recommended! Applications for the race will be open on 3 May and close on 15 June. No late entries. Registration fee for participants is 1200 dinars. We will have only one category-runners. This race is organized in cooperation with the NGO Orijen Outdoor Montenegro and PK Radnicki from Belgrade. The only thing we can guarantee is "damn good" adventure!
