You can expect the top Sky Race, probably the hardest in 2015. Not only that you willget close to 30km in distance and over 2.300m of total vertical assent, you will also have to reach three peaks of 2.500m. There will be no technical details that you may expect at the Falcon’s trail, but there won’t be a lot of moderate parts of Besnakobila race. Šara reef is spectacular and this will be a race to remember. Start of the race is at 800maltitude, in Štrpce, and the course goes through Piribreg, Sejmenske kule and Ljuboten, with the finish in the Old Village in Macedonia. You may expect a lot of spectators because the day of the race is a famous religious holiday St. Elijah, whenpicnickers traditionally visit Livadičkalake which is on the route of the race. Applications for the race will be open on 25 April and close on 1 July. Unfortunately, applications after the deadline will NOT be possible because this race is organizationally very demanding and we have to deliver in advance accurate participators lists to the border police in Skopje and Pristina. Since it is a Sunday, the race will be held even if St. Elijah decides to shoot from his cannons. We will have onlyone category - runners. This race is organized in cooperation with the NGO Beli vuk from Štrpce and TREX, Macedonia. Follow the tracks of the Šar mountain sheepdog, and survivals will talk!
